Since 1993, our family operated three (3) Traditional Public Utility Vehicles in our hometown in Sta. Ana, Manila with routes of Punta, Sta. Ana to Quiapo and Punta, Sta. Ana to Divisoria. Our family started to grow, and we moved to the city of San Pedro, Laguna where those 3 traditional PUVs are still operational. In 2018, We were about to renew the licenses of our traditional public utility and found out that Modernization Program was implemented by the government that will entirely change the public land transportation system. We decided to build a cooperative in Sta. Ana, Manila in which 19 units has been launched in the year 2019. Our family has then decided to establish a corporation, Modern Era Transport Corp., to support and suffice the public transportation needs of the people, especially in the Southern areas.
METC joins the program of the Government which is called "LIBRENG SAKAY" that was implemented during the pandemic.
METC offers private shuttle service to companies.
METC is planning to have other services that will be established in METC parking space.
